Newport HT50® Ventilator Dual Pac™ Internal Battery
The HT50 Dual Pac Internal Battery System includes a primary lead acid battery and a secondary internal NiMH (nickel metal hydride) battery. This unique two-battery system provides up to 10 hours of operation on standard settings. When the Battery Low alarm sounds the user always has a minimum of 30 minutes of operation. This allows adequate notice to locate an alternate power source to provide uninterrupted ventilation.
Both of the internal batteries charge simultaneously and can be re-charged from any external AC or DC power source. A fully depleted Dual Pac Internal Battery System will re-charge to 100% in 7 to 8 hours.
The patented, dual micro-piston internal gas generator on the HT50 is more energy efficient than turbine, blower or other standard type gas generators. This allows the internal battery, or any external battery, to run longer on less power.
