Pressure is measured by two pressure transducers: one is measuring pressure through the proximal pressure tubing in the patient breathing circuit, the other measures mainflow outlet pressure. If the proximal pressure measurement is interrupted, the mainflow outlet pressure is utilized while the HT50 alarms.
