When the HT50 with humidifier for home use is being used in a vehicle, can the humidifier also be run?
The HT50's integral humidifier runs from AC power only. It would put too big of a drain on the battery to run it from DC This allows the internal, built-in battery to power the HT50 for up to 10 hours. When the HT50 is running from DC power the humidifier may be used as a passover-style non-heated humidifier. The other option is to use an HCH or HME at the airway in place of a humidifier.
